I have always been fascinated by Wicca and religions that are based on older pagan beliefs. I have found that many of them address areas of spirituality that other religions do not. This is a great beginner's guide to Wicca, and will cover all of the basic beliefs, and much of the mythos. There are also a handful of spells that are suitable for the novice to practice with. If you are interested in learning to cast magic, then this book will help you get started.

I really appreciate the way this was written and the fact that it is available for free! I am just starting research into Wicca and this was a great brief overview of some key parts of Wiccan practices. It is by no means exhaustive, but I am glad I read it before anything else. Now I know I have a strong interest, but if I didn't I would not have felt like I wasted a long time. I like that it encourages the reader to seek out further information and contains so much supportive and welcoming language.

Short, quick read but it was exactly what I was looking for. This book delivers what it promises which is a nice introduction for beginners interested in learning more about Wicca. If you're looking for in depth material, you will definitely need more. But for me, I enjoyed the book. I thought it was an easy read and quite well put together. Kudos to the author.

The author does not have a good grasp of the English language, has no clue as to what a blue moon actually is, and the overall introductory information is very limited, badly written and truly tiring to read. The book roughly ends where it should begin. It reads more like a tween's school essay than as an introduction to Wicca.

The book provides stimulus for those interested in the parameters of the unknown .The worldly ways constantly bombard us with issues of its lower powers ....earthly experiences .Books like these provide the push and pull to leave the eartly lures behind .Even those following the path of spirituality need understand that subject matter like these may help to link them up to their objectives by providing related matter to awaken the fainting spirit .

I have repeatedly tried to understand the ideas of a world which includes magic as a reality.I look for proof that magic exsist in our wotld, and the way I can use it to serve my purposes. This book is a good starting point to the belief structure of the Wiccan religion. You won't come away with a bunch of spells,but rather the reason for the existance of the spells and charms of Wiccan practioners. An execellant introduction to the Wiccan Religion.

While the information itself is very useful, the paperback book retains the e-book formatting. Some words are not capitalized, and there are mistakes such as using the wrong "too."However, if none of that bothers you, then don't hesitate to buy this book! It's very informative and uses terms that are easy for the beginner to understand.

A wonderful foundation to get a good overview of Wicca; history, traditions, practice and good sound advice not just for those who would wish to practice! This is a great "get your feet wet" kind of introduction that enlightens without being a lecture. I would gladly recommend it to anyone who wishes to get an understanding of an oft missunderstood practice.

O. C. Ferrell is The James T. Pursell Sr. Eminent Scholar Chair in Ethics and Director of the Center for Ethical Organizational Cultures, Auburn University. He is also a former member of the Academy of Marketing Science Board of Governors and is a Society of Marketing Advances and Southwestern Marketing Association Fellow and an Academy of Marketing Science Distinguished Fellow. He was vice president of publications and is president-elect for the Academy of Marketing Science. It's a mix of old school and new school style writing with small print that drags on at times, but the text and short case studies are up to date. My other textbooks for the MBA are much more readable so I don't think this was the best choice for the class, but full of information and is organized fairly well. It has only black and white photos and a few color graphs to illustrate the points, so it is a bit too old school for me.

Read this for an MBA class. It was pretty enjoyable. The case studies were the most interesting.I think the Marketing Plan section was a bit overdone for my taste but it was nothing if not comprehensive.I would recommend it for a marketing student

Delivered as promised. Book is in pretty rough shape and looks like it got a little wet at one point. Also had a few loose pages but none were missing. For the price it’s well worth it

This was required reading for an MBA class. The necessary strategic marketing content is included. However, this text is not an overly effective delivery of the content. The authors are entirely too wordy. Every chapter includes droning examples of the covered subject I realize this is offered to help student receive some form of real-world insight. However, it feels like the authors just added a bunch of fluff to increase the size of the text. There is ample opportunity to use more bullet points that would make critical content stand out. Instead, the authors use a "beyond the pages" approach and exhibit boxes. The exhibit boxes are not that bad yet also include way to much information. The exhibit boxes should be re-written to add only vital points to avoid cluttering the delivery and confusing students. I found the beyond the pages examples useless. They may be good stories (or not) yet are only helpful if your professor is testing you using that content.Overall, I suggest the above formatting and content changes. Again, the content is there and you an learn using this book. I just didn't like it.
